Being able to recognize common stress symptoms can help with managing them. Stress that’s left unchecked can contribute to many health complications, such as high blood pressure, heart disease, obesity, diabetes and insomnia.

Stress symptoms may be affecting your health, even though you might not realize it. You may think illness is responsible for that unusual headache, your frequent insomnia or your decreased productivity at work. But stress may actually be the major cause.

Despite what you have read so far in articles about stress, there are three factors you can’t but pay attention to if you must manage or overcome stress. The three factors are;

  • Stress drains the blood
  • It breaks down the immune system
  • Stress makes you age faster and appear older than your age

Studies also show that humans have 73 trillion cells right from birth which is within the vibrant zone. This is the stage when the cells are complete, aid growth and stress-free. But from the weak zone research shows that every individual begins to burn approximately 1000 cells or more per day simply because at the weak zone one is more exposed to stress, one begins to face the realities of life, thinking patterns begin to change, one’s mood begins to change and one’s reaction in general also keeps changing. The accumulation of stress over years and not managing it well brings about complications in old age (this occurs at the sick or death zone). As one grows and burns cells, the cells are expected to be replenished by proper diet and healthy lifestyle.

The American Physiological Association reported that “Stress can be a reaction to a short-lived situation, such as being stuck in traffic. Or it can last a long time if you’re dealing with relationship problems, a spouse’s death or other serious situations. Stress becomes dangerous when it interferes with your ability to live a normal life over an extended period. You may feel tired, unable to concentrate or irritable. Stress can also damage your physical health.”
